Three members of the group: Barry Gibb and his brothers, the twins Robin & Maurice, all born on the Isle of Man. The family emigrated to Australia in 1958 and that was where they began their musical career. They returned to England in 1966 They wrote and performed: Saturday Night Fever, Staying Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, etc.

The group ended when Maurice died suddenly in 2003.
