Duke of Westminster, 6th, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor

Born Omagh, N. Ireland. Extremely rich landowner, possessing vast chunks of Lancashire, Cheshire and Scotland as well as most of Mayfair and Belgravia. There are bits of Paris, Canada and Spain he calls his own as well. Amazing what can be done with just one O-level.

. Succeeded by his eldest son, Hugh. Tamara and Edwina, being of the female persuasion, don't count.

Born in Ottawa.  Ottawa's longest serving mayor, 1936 to 1948.  The photo shows him in 1946 the year of the planting of the tree that he gifted but we don't think he was at the event.
