Architect. Designed Lopping Hall in 1883. It was built by his brother, John.
From we learnt that in 1881 Egan built a house for himself on the High Road, very close to Lopping Hall: 'Holmdale', now numbered 199 and occupied (2023) by Gail's and Swift Travel.

Borough Engineer of Southwark Council in 1936.  He designed the Walworth Clinic so we have classified him as an architect, though we can't find any more of his work.
Georgian architect in London and Twickenham. Born Hampshire. Built St George's Hanover Square. Renovated St Margaret's in Parliament Square. Died Greenwich.
Laid out the Norland Estate and designed the Royal Crescent there.  Died at home in Wimpole Street.
