Architect. Born Marylebone. Designed the National Portrait Gallery. Primarily worked on churches though he found time to design about 120 houses. Died at the home he had designed for himself, 'Thwaitehead', 50 Well Walk, Hampstead.

The man on the 1905 plaque is probably not F. Milton Harvey who would have been only 29. Perhaps his father?
The upper storey of the west tower was added in 1841 to enable a peal of eight bells to be installed. Â The picture shows the tower in 1810, pre-works.
