Imperial Studios were the studios of the British and Dominions Film Corporation (B&D), a short-lived British film production company formed by Herbert Wilcox and located at Imperial Place, Elstree Way, Borehamwood. The new Imperial Studios was the first purpose-built sound studio in Europe. Alfred Hitchcock's 1929 'Blackmail', the first British 'talkie', was shot there, just before B&D took over.

The studios, which made up part of the complex known as Elstree Studios, were active 1929-36, when they were destroyed by fire, on 9 February. The company relocated to Pinewood Studios but ceased production in 1938.
