From the 1934 : "Director of the Society, and President of the Metropolitan Auxiliary Council of the L.M.S. for 1934-1935. He presided this year over the Easter School at Hayward's Heath, and his wife acted as "Hostess." He is a member of Christ Church Congregational Church, Westminster Bridge Road, and brother to the Rev. F. Maltus Smith, M.A., our missionary at Gooty, South India."
