John Light

John Light was born on 27 April 1967, the son of Dennis H. Light (b.1931) and Betty Lilian Light née James (b.1934). His birth was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1967 in the Plymouth registration district, Devon.

Aged 32 years, he was injured on 30 April 1999 in the Admiral Duncan public house bombing at 54 Old Compton Street, London, W1D 4UD and died later that day in hospital. He was one of the three people who were killed in the outrage and is commemorated on the plaque beside the three trees that were planted in their memory in St Anne's Gardens, Wardour Street, London, W1. His death was registered in August 1999 in the Camden registration district, Greater London.
