The territory of the LB&SCR (also known as the Brighton line, the Brighton Railway or the Brighton) formed a rough triangle, with London at its apex, practically the whole coastline of Sussex as its base, covering a large part of Surrey.
Formed from the merger of London and Croydon Railway with 4 other railways. It went on to become part of Southern Railway in 1923.
Its war memorial is at Victoria Station.
