Lord Loughborough

Lawyer and Lord Chancellor. Born Alexander Wedderburn, probably in Edinburgh. Called to the bar at the Inner Temple in 1757, he served as Lord Chancellor from 1793 to 1801. Died in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.
