Michael John Powell

Michael John Powell was born on 28 June 1951. He was a former Smithfield Market worker who was known to his friends as Micky Powell.

On 20 November 1971 he married Stephanie M. Raynsford (b.1951) in the Southwark Registration District, London and they had three daughters: Sarah Louise Powell (b.1972); Hannah Powell (b.1975) and Rachel Elizabeth Powell (b.1983). The births of all three daughters were registered in the Lambeth Registration District, London.

Electoral registers from 2003 to 2013 show him and his wife listed at 18 Sunset Road, London, SE5 8EA.

He died, aged 62 years, on 14 September 2013. 

He is shown as Michael (Micky) Powell on the memorial plaque at Smithfield Market, Grand Avenue, London, EC1. Our image shows him accompanied by his wife.
