Paul Michael Dunne

19-year old murder victim. Stabbed through the heart during a fight in Hoxton Street.

On the we found some posts by people who knew those involved.  This one from Chica001UK is a good summary: "On 28th March 1991 Paul Dunne a local boy was murdered in a racial attack, we couldn't put him to rest and had to wait for the coroner to release his body. We finally was allowed to lay him to rest. 10th May 1991, on the way to the funeral, we all gathered (17 -19 years young) to pay our respects. Unfortunately there was an accident and we lost another 4 friends. Who never got to the cemetery." The crash happened on the approach to the Blackwall Tunnel.

Kevin McCluskey, who had been living in a squatter's flat in Hoxton at the time, was jailed for five years in 1992 for killing Dunne in a street fight. In 2005 McCluskey was himself killed, shot three times outside his home in Glasgow. Source: .

When his death was registered in the 4th quarter of 1971 in the London City Registration District, his date of birth was confirmed as 21 September 1971.

He is shown as 'PAUL DUNNE' on the Hoxton Five memorial plaque in the Hoxton Trust Community Garden, Hoxton Street, London, N1.
