Our colleague Andrew Behan has kindly researched this couple: Reginald Ernest Punter was born 26 August 1909 in Islington, a son of Alfred Edward Punter and Amelia Marion Punter née Copp. His father was Bricklayer's Labourer. The 1911 census shows the family living at 6 Corinth Road, Cattle Market, Islington. He married Jane Rosser in 1932 in Islington and electoral registers show that they were living from 1934 to 1936 at 18 North Road, Islington. The 1938 electoral register shows them both at 2 Corporation Street, Islington and the 1939 Register shows them living at 8 Surr Street, Islington. He was a General Painter. By 1945 they were living with Reginald's family at 6 Corinth Road, Islington where they stayed until 1968 when the premises were demolished. They had six boys and three girls. He died on 4 December 1983 in Islington, aged 74 years an was cremated on 9 December 1983.
