Rev. E. K. Douglas

Vicar of St Mary of Eton, the Eton Mission, appointed in 1889 and, finding that boys playing football in Victoria Park was problematic, he set in motion the acquisition of 337 acres of Hackney Marshes in 1890 as a perpetual open space for the people of London. A member of the London Playing Fields Society.

1902-17 we find references to him in the Cheveley/Cambridge area. and in 1920 he's in Suffolk.
