Revd. W.  J. Bolton

Born Bath. His father was American and the family moved there in 1836. He trained in art and became a designer and producer of stained glass windows. He returned to England in 1845 and set up in Cambridge. A few years later he entered the university and was ordained as a priest in 1854. 1878 as vicar of St Johns, Stratford he was Treasurer of the committee that had the Stratford Martyrs Memorial erected. Died Bath.
