Robert Percy Smith

Robert Percy Smith, known as "Bobus" Smith was a lawyer, MP, and Judge Advocate-General of Bengal, India. Brother of Rev. Sydney Smith. Made his fortune during his 7 years in Bengal.

As a governor of the New River Company he developed part of Finsbury as the head of the New River. Great Percy Street and Percy Circus are named after him.

Died at his house in Savile Row.
