The oldest building in Acton. Built as a baroque country villa by Charles Morren for Sir Joseph Ayloffe. It remained a private house until 1964. In 1981, the Twyford Church of England High School was formed and the building is now used as the administrative centre.

Medieval mansion sometime home of Edward de Vere. Built c.14th century, demolished c. 1710. Some people confuse this mansion with Brooke House, another house once owned by Edward de Vere.
Railway station served by trains from London and the North Kent and Bexleyheath lines. It was built using London Brick to a design by George Smith.
