This building was partly destroyed by German aircraft on the 18th December 1917. Restoration completed 1919.
We deliberately captured part of the notice to the left of the plaque - you can work out its message. The station was closed in 2014.
No erection date is given but we've guessed that the work was done and the plaque erected in time for the Jubilee in 1977.
