Referring to the biography, 'Hitch: The Life and Times of Alfred Hitchcock' (1978) by John Russell Taylor, provides some details: Alfred and Alma returned from their honeymoon to this flat, occupying the top two floors of the house, with 90-odd steps to climb. Alfred did the interior design himself. 1928 Patricia, their daughter was born, and the family stayed here until leaving for America in 1939.
