Amy Winehouse statue

Erection date: 14/9/2014

Site: Amy Winehouse statue (1 memorial)

NW1, Chalk Farm Road, Stable Market

reported that this life-size statue was originally intended for a balcony at the nearby Roundhouse, and that Camden Council were not keen on the statue at all.

We deliberately chose to visit on a wet day to avoid the usual crowds. It had not occurred to us that the raindrops on the statue would add to the poignancy of the small, lone figure.
