Audley Square Garage

Inscription

Audley Square Garage
This garage was erected by the Westminster City Council and was opened for public use on the 8th October 1962.
Architect: Frank Risdon, FRIBA, AADip,(Hons)

The graphic design of this plaque is very 60s.

Site: Audley Square Garage (1 memorial)

W1, South Audley Street

Google Maps (2009) showed an open space on this site. Sadly that is incorrect, instead we have this 1962 car park, proudly opened by Westminster Council. High quality graphics on the plaque.

2020: featured the coat of arms plaque on another Westminster car park, in Whitcomb Street, also early 1960s.

See Marylebone's first car park for all we have on this specialist architectural form.
