Plaque

Bandstand - Queen's Park

Erection date: 1987

Inscription

Queen's Park Centenary
1887 - 1987

Site: Bandstand - Queen's Park (1 memorial)

NW6, Queen's Park, Brondesbury

The plaque is on the wall beside the steps. It's a pity that the paint-brush operative hadn't been better trained.

Queen's Park was officially opened on 5 November 1887, which makes one wonder if fireworks figured in the opening celebrations.
