The plaque has the Ethiopian/pan-African/Rastafari tri-colours around the edge. Unveiled during Covid restrictions to a few people, socially distanced.

As part of their Uprising tour Marley and the Wailers played here in the Summer of 80 Garden Party Festival, a well-established annual event. This was Marley's last and biggest London concert.

The bandstand is known by locals as the Rusty Laptop.
