(lost) Bowler plaque - Spices

Bowler plaque - Spices
Bowler plaque - Spices

Erection date: 1995

We failed to find this in Dec-Jan 2017. This cast-iron roundel, which shows curry spices: chili peppers, okra, anise and cardamom, is one of 22 - see Bowler's page for more details.

Site: Bowler plaque - Spices (1 memorial)

E1, Whitechapel High Street

The Bowler booklet gives the address as Whitechapel Road - junction Osborn Street, and the map shows the pin just to the west of the junction. At this point the main road is actually Whitechapel High Street but that's an easy mistake to make.
