Cato Heath mosaic

Erection date: 2016

Inscription

{Nearby handwritten plaque:}
This mural is one of a series I am doing in memory of my son, Cato Heath, who died on 14th December 2010 when he was twenty one. I am doing one for every year of his life, in places that were of significance to him. This one in St John's Gardens, close to our home, represents his first 378 days from 25.12.1988 to 6.1.1990.
Each rectangle stands for one day, some of the colours are symbols for events that happened on certain days like Doctors appointments or stays in hospital, others happy normal days.
I work from my diaries and his GP records.
{a key gives the colours for: Doctors (black); hospital; hydrotherapy; physiotherapy (3 shades of grey/green)}
