Plaque

Charing Cross Hospital - Agar Street

Inscription

First stone laid XV September MDCCCXXXI by H.R.H. Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, K.C. etc. etc. etc.
{The Roman numeral date translates as 15 September 1831.}

We love the repeated "etc."s to indicate the Duke's excessively long list of honours, etc. (now we're at it!).

Site: Charing Cross Hospital - Agar Street (2 memorials)
