Plaque

Clapham Pottery

Erection date: 5/10/2015

Inscription

Clapham Pottery, formerly Chapel of Ingleton House Boys Home, 1912 - 1918.
The Clapham Society

Plaque unveiled by Michel Roux Junior, who runs the Roux Experience Courses at Cactus Kitchen Cookery School in Clapham.

Site: Clapham Pottery (1 memorial)

SW4, Rectory Grove, 4a

In our photo the plaque can be seen above and to the right of the set-back double doors. These gave entrance to the 1912 chapel, which extends backwards from the road.  The single red door together with its steps were not part of the original design. The long building to the right (largely outside our photo) is the refectory hall, built at the same time. All part of the Ingleton House Boys Home.
