Inscription

This postbox celebrates ICC Cricket World Cup victories for the England's men's cricket team on 14 July, 2019 and the England women's cricket team on 23 July, 2017.
{Followed by an inscription in Braille, which presumably says the same thing:}.

We have assumed that the lost plaque read the same as the one at The Oval.

NW8, Lord's Cricket Ground

We were expecting to find a plaque on this letter box but, when we visited, in April 2020 there was nothing unusual about it. We found both our images in  Google Maps: the close up in and the long shot which is how it has looked ever since: returned to red and with no plaque. We are pleased that Google chanced to capture the white box with the plaque.

This box was one of 15, 3 of which are in London - see Cricket World Cup victories - The Oval.
