Site: David Cassidy - Phoenix Theatre (1 memorial)

W1, Stacey Street, Phoenix Theatre

We thank our colleague, Alan Patient, for the photos of the plaque.

April 2020: Immediately after publishing this we were contacted by one of the organisers for the plaque. She told us that, following discussions between the fans, the plaque was changed a few months ago, removing the phrase “King of Hearts” from the bottom. We have replaced our photo with the one she sent. She also told us that “the garden across the road, the Phoenix Garden, hosts a plaque in David’s memory inscribed ‘Dreams, Wishes and Happy Trails’ placed in August 2019.”

January 2021: We've been contacted by another Cassidy fan telling us that the first plaque was replaced without permission from the fans. It's very sad when disputes of this nature arise and we will not, cannot, act as arbitrator.  No further comments will be accepted.
