The plaque was unveiled by actor and president of the Heritage Foundation, Vicki Michelle.

Dors lived here 1953 - 68, her professional heyday, and held "racy" parties, for which Archbishop Fisher denounced her as a "wayward hussy".

In April 2020 this renovated house was for sale at , reduced to  a year later.
