{It's highly probable that the fountain had a plaque commemorating Henry Fawcett.}
Site: Doulton drinking fountain - Henry Fawcett (1 memorial)
SW8, Vauxhall Park
From : c.1891 "The contents from {Henry Fawcett's} house raised £75.10s (£75.50) which was accepted by Sir Henry Doulton for 'a very fine Fountain made of Doulton Ware' The fountain was worth nearer £250 but Doulton ‘just happened to have it on hand’". That same page has an image (on this page) of what we take to be that fountain. The gives: ".. was installed centrally within a paved space designed by Fanny Wilkinson ..." and "By 1914 a bandstand had replaced the fountain ... " We can find no further record and wonder what happened to it.
Our image, from the , gives the location of the "D.Fn".
