To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Entente Cordiale the Franco British Society has inscribed this stone in memory of Henry 5th Marquess of Lansdowne and Paul Cambon.

The 50th plaque is on the corner of the building.  The centenary plaque is in the porch, where there is also a splendid highly polished embossed copper plaque that displays the and reads: Ambassade de la République Française.
