The North Islington Infant Welfare Centre was founded in 1913 by Mrs W. B. Keen who laid this stone in 1928.

{Lower plaque:}
This garden was laid out in grateful memory of the founder who died on 30th April 1942.

We don't need to comment on the placement of the railings and the sensitivity of those responsible, do we?
