To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Independence of India 50 trees were planted by Brent Indian Association and its affiliate organisations in the presence of Cllr. Mark Cummins, Mayor of London Borough of Brent and Dr. L. M. Singhvi, the High Commissioner for India.
