Inscription

This was the home of the Goossens family of musicians, 1912 - 1927.
English Heritage

No doubt, the Goossens flock was large, but we have only recognised those of note,(pun intended!). Plaque unveiled by Anne Obermer, the eldest daughter of Sir Eugene Goossens. The Goossens we've listed are all Sir Eugene's siblings with the exception of Eugene, their father.
