We first photographed this plaque some years ago when the building was The Queen's Head public house.
Poplar Town Hall, 1938 - 1965, Architect: Clifford Culpin Bow Heritage Trail
We could not read the plaque itself but it is shown very clearly in the British Pathe film.
The unveiling is reported at The Music Hall Guild.  The plaque is just visible in our picture, in the porch.
