Hamish Pettit

Erection date: 13/12/2021

Inscription

Honouring the bravery and sacrifice of Hamish Pettit of the London Fire Brigade who gave his life in the line of duty at a fire in Clifton Gardens, London, 13th December 1974.

Site: Sir Ambrose Fleming + Hamish Pettit (2 memorials)

W9, Clifton Gardens, 9 + 11

Following the erection of the Pettit plaque we visited in June 2024 to photo that and to take a new photo showing numbers 9 and 11 with their plaques.  However there was extensive scaffolding. So we have retained the photo without the Pettit plaque, for the time-being.
