The flowering of the English baroque, a memorial to Henry Purcell by the sculptor Glynn Williams, unveiled by HRH the Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowden, on the tercentenary of the death of the composer, 22 November 1995.

The form of the statue is similar to that of the 'Green Man' carvings in churches.
