The plaque is located on the site of her first factory which was called the Omnia Works.

The Hewlett and Blondeau factory, Omnia Works, opened on this site, 2-16 Vardens Road, a disused ice-skating rink site, in 1912. Hewlett lived nearby in a flat at 34 Park Mansions, Prince of Wales Drive. By May 1914 they had moved the factory out to a larger site in Bedfordshire.
