Plaque

Hugh John Moore - tree

Inscription

Dedicated to the memory of Commander Hugh John Moore QPM who died in service on 4th December 1993 having devoted 38 years to the City of London Police.

QPM is Queen's Police Medal.

Site: Hugh John Moore - tree (1 memorial)

EC2, Wood Street

The plaque is at the foot of the tree. Seems likely that Moore was based at the Wood Street police station (not shown in our photo, behind the camera) and that the tree was planted by his colleagues.
