WC2, Aldwych, Novello Theatre

The theatre was designed by W. G. R. Sprague in 1905. It opened as the Waldorf Theatre with offices on the top 3rd and 4th floors. Novello had them converted into living accommodation.

2019: Sir Cameron Mackintosh applied to convert Novello's flat (which had reverted to offices in 1951) into a 2-storey luxury apartment for his own use.
