Plaque

Jack the Ripper - W8

Inscription

Jack the Ripper, 1891 - 1899, also known as Dr S. S. A. Hasbro, surgeon & restauranteur, lived here.
Kensington & Chelsea

Erected after April 2017, as some sort of tasteless joke, presumably by the restaurant that occupies the building.

Hasbro never existed. the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea had nothing to do with this plaque, the erectors of which can't spell (or use a spell-checker).

We've found 11 men suspected (more or less tenuously) of being the murderer nicknamed Jack the Ripper. e.g. George Chapman.
