Plaque

(lost) James McBey

Inscription

James McBey, 1883-1959, artist, lived here.

Site: James McBey (1 memorial)

W11, Holland Park Avenue, 1

2023: Susan Van Noorden contacted us, "This plaque was removed during rebuilding of the wall and has not been replaced."  The most recent Google Street View, July 2022, shows the house covered in scaffolding and the wall boxed in. It's possible that the plaque may still be replaced but until we are told that has happened we have marked it as 'lost'.

2024: We've been told that it's still missing.
