This plaque was unveiled on 26 June 1989 by the Right Honourable The Lord Mayor Sir Christopher Collett GBE MA DSc to mark the 130th anniversary of The Board of Guardians and Trustees for the Relief of the Jewish Poor Registered (known as the Jewish Board of Guardians) who occupied these premises for 60 years.
