{On the large metal plate over which the bench sits:}
In memory of Jimmy Mizen, 9.5.1992 - 10.5.2008, brother, friend, inspiration.

This is a lovely piece of sculpture, a bench for the weary, a memorial to a murdered boy and an olive branch in hope of peace in the future. Sadly we cannot find the name of the sculptor.

SE12, Burnt Ash Hill

The murder took place at no 21, The Three Cooks' Bakery. The bench is positioned outside the launderette, on the other side of the junction.
