Inscription

Black trumpeter John Blanke musician at the courts of Henry VII & Henry VIII.
A BBC History project

Site: John Blanke (1 memorial)

SE10, Old Royal Naval College, Visitor Centre

The plaque is at the top of the grey column to the right of the central door. Presumably there is evidence that Blanke performed at Greenwich Palace which used to be on this site.
