Conrad moved here following his discharge from the German Hospital.

2021: The so the agents have done some digging: "It once served as a boarding house where Conrad shared quarters with a printers compositor and a diamond merchants clerk, among other occupants, in 1891, according to a 2011 biography of the writer titled The Several Lives of Joseph Conrad, by John Stape."
