Site: Lee Rigby - tree (1 memorial)

SE18, Corner of John Wilson and Wellington Streets

There was some friction over this memorial. It is close to the site of Lee Rigby's murder and initially Greenwich Council was opposed to locating it here, on the grounds that the site could become a focal point for far-right demos. They however agreed to it after further consultation with Lee's family.
