{Beneath a representation of the Victoria Cross medal:}
In honour of the citizens of Lewisham awarded the Victoria Cross for valour.
This memorial was erected 2015 in gratitude by Lewisham veterans in honour of their brave comrades.

This gives the name of the recipients of the Victoria Cross from Lewisham and nearby areas.
