Lord Randolph Churchill, 1849 - 1895 statesman, lived here 1883 - 1892.

Site: Randolph Churchill (1 memorial)

W2, Connaught Place, 2

This terrace backs on to the Marble Arch mega-roundabout, and we've heard that the horse-drawn carriages of that time made the streets very noisy. It can't have been a very peaceful place to live.
