Sadiq Khan attended the memorial ceremony held at the tree in 2018.

In this little garden Makram Ali used to play with his grandchildren. It is not publicly accessible but, as we arrived, a resident was leaving the building and asked us what we were looking for. He remembered the tree and kindly allowed us in to take our photographs.
